Eco-Verdure: Thinking Outside to Create the Unexpected

Eco Verdure equipe

Before becoming the well-established company we know today, the story of Eco-Verdure began with Vincent Beaudoin, who bought his first lawnmowers in high school to offer lawn maintenance services. A few years later, while studying business at HEC, he met Maxime Proulx. In the meantime, a fire destroyed the business. Despite the setback, Vincent and Maxime joined forces, expanding their services to include construction and landscape design.

Today, the company based in Richelieu employs 80 people and serves the Island of Montreal, Montérégie, and the Eastern Townships. The team thrives on complex projects that require technical knowledge and creative thinking. Their drive to innovate is evident in the design process, the technologies they use, and how they manage and execute each project. At the end of the day, the team takes pride in delivering high-quality, large-scale projects—on time and on budget—while minimizing frustration for both clients and staff.

Services That Stand Out

Eco-Verdure offers four main service categories: landscape design, landscaping, maintenance, and outdoor carpentry. The team can build any type of outdoor structure—attached or freestanding—such as pool houses, garages, pergolas, verandas, and sheds. Clients can clearly visualize their future space through detailed 3D presentations.

Over the years, the company has won numerous awards, including Maître Paysagiste of the Year in 2020, first prize in the Avant-Garde category in 2022, and the Quercus Award for Emerging Horticultural Talent in 2019. Eco-Verdure has held the Maître Paysagiste certification since 2018. According to Hugo Landry, Business Development Director, this certification is “a symbol of trust and reliability. It helps us win contracts because clients know their project will be well-designed and professionally delivered.”

Values That Resonate on the Ground

At Eco-Verdure, the team lives by five core mottos:
Put people first. The Eco-Verdure family. Stay young at heart. Be better than yesterday. Dream, dare, achieve.

These values contribute to a staff retention rate of around 95%. For clients, it means a personalized experience and flawless execution.

Company leaders often say they build so well that clients don’t need to call them—unless they have another project in mind. Long-lasting quality is what minimizes follow-up calls due to issues.

Integrated Services

What sets Eco-Verdure apart is its fully integrated carpentry service and in-house workforce. Because nearly all work is completed internally, the team can tightly manage schedules and maintain seamless service. Communication with clients is also more fluid and immediate. These streamlined processes provide peace of mind, ensuring nothing is left to chance.

A Top Employer

Employee experience at Eco-Verdure is a top priority. The company is committed to supporting both the physical and mental well-being of its staff. Fun, personal growth, and professional training are part of the culture. Employees are also encouraged to get involved in the community initiative of their choice.

In short, Eco-Verdure is the dream of two young entrepreneurs who transformed a lawn care business into a thriving landscape design company—renowned for its creativity and execution quality. And they did it all while creating an experience that’s just as enjoyable for employees as it is for clients.
