Description

The backyard features several defined areas that allow the clients to host numerous guests and make the most of the space. Light green foliage, hints of yellow, and the soft tones of the materials brighten the entire layout and create the illusion of a larger space, despite the yard’s limited size. The landscaping now welcomes the clients and their guests year-round.

Goals and Challenges

Very limited access to the inner courtyard (workers had to pass through the neighbor’s property). Due to the confined space, the work was carried out using small machinery. The land’s slopes were directed toward a linear drain that flows into a dry well (inner courtyard). We also planned planting zones to help absorb a portion of the runoff water.
